During our recent Easter holiday at S'Waldhaus in the serene Pitztal valley, we were captivated by the idyllic surroundings and the cozy ambiance that this accommodation offers. Nestled in a quaint hamlet, the lodge serves as an ideal base for skiing adventures, with the Pitztal Glacier and Rifflsee ski areas just 2 km away, providing reliable snow conditions. Our group of five found the spacious rooms to be comfortable, each equipped with a lovely balcony that afforded breathtaking mountain views. The wellness area, featuring a sauna and steam bath, was a delightful addition after a day on the slopes, albeit at a surcharge, making it a worthy indulgence. Breakfast was satisfactory and served in a charming room with wonderful outside views-a peaceful space to gather and share our experiences. Communication with the friendly owner, Stefan, was a slight challenge due to the language barrier, but his warm hospitality made up for it. In a nutshell, S'Waldhaus proved to be a picturesque retreat enveloped by nature's splendor, perfect for groups seeking an authentic Alpine experience. For anyone interested in both adventure and relaxation, I highly recommend this charming lodge.
